Design Tip: Learning How to Cut Back

When Opportunity Comes a’ Knockin…Be there to Answer the Door

Some of us are go-getters, some of us are risk averse, and some of us are just procrastinators. We all have different approaches to making decisions, but when an opportunity presents itself it may be wise to think twice before letting it slip away.

This is an excerpt from an article I wrote about opportunity. As much as I like it, I decided to cut it out because sometimes you have to learn how to give up a little to make something good great. For any creative, if you want to maintain a cohesive piece of work it is best to cut back on your ideas no matter how incredible it may be. Whether it relates to your art, your work, or your life, I hope you will be able to find inspiration in this post today!

Daily Doodles: Little Men

Watching cartoons and reading comic strips was a big passion of mine as a child. Naturally, some of my doodles are influenced by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz and his best known comic strip, Peanuts.

“Sometimes I lie awake at night and I ask, where have I gone wrong? Then a voice says to me, this is going to take more than one night.”
