I created a business card for a fellow friend that is graduating with a bachelor of arts in marketing. These are some of the sketches I conjured up. For some reason I always find the sketching process more interesting than the final product itself. And sometimes my ideas flow so much, I end up with way to many options to choose from. Together we narrowed down the different selections and she decided on the design in the third photo. She is very happy with it!

Design Tip: Use Simple Shapes
The most effective shapes for creating logos are circles, squares and polygons with a maximum of six sides. These shapes are simple, balanced, and symmetrical which help draw attention by keeping the viewer's eye centered easily. Avoid shapes like rectangles and triangles.
